Take a look at yourself in the mirror, who do you see looking back?
Is it the person you want to be, or is there someone else you were meant to be, the person you should have been but fell short of?
Is someone telling you, you can't or you won't? Because you can.

Sometimes happiness doesn't come from money or fame or power. Sometimes happiness comes from the good friends and family. And from the quiet nobility of leading a good life.

Believe that love is out there, believe that dreams come true everyday, because they do.
So take a look at that mirror and remind yourself to be happy because you deserve to be, believe that.

Yes, I will not recognise the latest movie to premiere in cinemas as Thor. I will recognise it as Loki. Why? Because he was wrongly judged, he was always shunned from the recognition he deserved but mostly…He is awesome.

loki6

If you have watched the movie, you will know what I mean. His history of being taken away, being lied to, being looked down upon..I think this guy deserves a break. Sure, his ancestry isn’t something to be proud of, but when he was born he did not learn any of their actions or attitudes. I really think that he should be given a chance!

loki

As you can see, even my font for this post has gone back to the Old English times. I did this to dedicate to the misinterpreted god of mischief, Loki. Thor and Loki may have been half brothers, I still think Loki totally deserves the throne more than that arrogant jerk known as Thor, which is the true son to Odin.loki2

To all, if you have thought that Thor was better than Loki, I say Hell No. Based on this movie, I really have to say…Loki really deserves a better judgement. I mean, from the movie…his past…how he was taken away by Odin, how he was always not really given a fair chance just like Thor….I really think that Loki deserves better than just being known as a villain. Now I have to say, I’m not usually a villain supporter but based on how the story has become for Thor and Loki in the movie, I really have to say that Loki totally deserves more respect. He ain’t no villain!

I am really serious guys, Loki really doesn’t deserve to be seen as a villain, well at least based on this movie!!

loki3

Honestly, do you really want to know why? Well, for most obvious reasons, PLEASE go watch the movie to find out for yourselves. For my own reasons, you’ll have to read on and figure out if I am right. Read on if you must. But be warned, major spoilers ahead. Scroll down at your own risk. =)

Seriously speaking, I have nothing against both the characters at first. Thor seemed like just a cool guy, Loki is like this supportive brother as well. But as the story carried on, you find out that Thor is really such a hothead and arrogant jerk. He may be the superhero in the show, but he sure isn’t in my books. How can you perceive such an asshole to be so cool? Yeah…He hammers all his enemies away…like seriously, that’s it?

At least, you know…Loki had more in him than first noticed. He was always seen as the second best in front of their father, Odin the Almighty. To me, I think he definitely had more potential than Thor and could really have been an amazing ally if Odin did give him a chance. But all this time, he was just shunned back. Thor was the one who always got the recognition, the glory…Damn it to hell, Loki deserves more than this too!loki4

As the story progressed, we find out that Loki really wasn’t who he thought he was. Matter of fact, he came to realise that in actuality, he wasn’t really a son of Odin. He had been taken away from his birth parents by Odin who had his own plans in his mind. So, truth be told, Loki is just like an adopted child acting out because he realised the parents he’s got isn’t really his real parents. I mean, wouldn’t you act out if you found this out too?

Worse of all, Odin finds him a definite no to being a descendant of the throne because of his blood. Loki never knew he was different, he too wishes to have an equal chance for the throne with his brother, and he would never get it because he was different. And he was never told he was different, would you blame him when he finds this out?

loki5Honestly, I really think what Loki did in the movie was just to vent out his anger that he had kept within because of the injustice done to him by the others. When Thor was cast down to Earth, Loki felt that he finally had a chance to show Odin of how loyal he was as a son to him. I mean, like seriously? he was willing to cheat his birth parents and kill them in front of his foster parents in hopes to gain their trust again. Isn’t that already more than enough??

I really, really think Loki should be given a chance. I really think that Loki had been misjudged by the people he loved and he should really be taken back as family. Even if they refused, I really hope that Loki would be given a brighter day to see in the future. I mean, even when you watch the movie, do you know who gets the green cape? LOKI! And Thor gets a red cape. I mean come on, doesn’t green seem more happy? Green means go…Red means stop! Stop! Because Thor is NO GOOD!

Seriously, he may look deceiving in the movie…but I really think he has a good heart. I mean, the last moment of the movie before it ended, where Loki and Thor was hanging close to death, I felt so heart broken to see Loki give up and just let go, all because of Odin who felt he was not deserving as his son anymore. Loki only did what he did just to impress you, you dumb old fool!! Thor was the one who shouted back at you, not Loki! You are so foolish, it’s like you only have one eye to see..oh wait, you do! It' was so painful to see Loki just dropping down into the abyss…Why Loki, why?? You deserved better…

Honestly, I can’t wait to see Loki return back for The Avengers movie. Kick that arrogant, undeserving jerk known as Thor’s ass, like seriously. I will await for your return, my lord…Loki.

first of all, if he really is a good guy, he shouldn't be jealous of thor and should be happy for him

second, he kill his birth parent the frost giant for god's sake!

third, he try to kill thor, did thor try to kill him? no. He tried to save him

fourth, I'm pretty sure Odin haven't finish saying and Loki already give up and let his hand go

your sincerely,
MATT

Okay, let's see it your way. If you were Loki, wouldn't you want to feel equal like Thor? Wouldn't you wish that your parents be happy with both of you and hope that what Thor gets, you get it as well?

Is it really that unfair, that Loki must be the one to give Thor everything and nothing for himself?

Did you see why he killed his birth parents? DID YOU SEE HE HAD TO DO IT TO SHOW HIS LOYALTY TO THE ASGARDIANS INSTEAD OF THE FROST GIANTS?

And with Thor being all arrogant, wouldn't you wish to kill your brother too? He is taking all the credit while you have to sit by the sidelines...Just watching him do everything and gain all the glory.

You're sure Odin hasn't finish talking? What? Old age made him talk slower? He just awoke from a sleep, he can dash all the way from the palace to save them but he can't finish a sentence? For God's sake...He already lost hope in Loki.

All in all, I still say that Loki is damaged and betrayed by the people he thought had loved him. I think that he is just acting out in anger from all the lies that was told to him!

Would you prefer people telling lies to you about your origin as well??

it is murder we are talking about! murder is always wrong. End of story.

he killed the frost giant just to act in front of his mom and Odin.

Loki is jealous of Thor. if he is good, why not win him fair and square? challenge him to a battle or something.

glory is not everything man. family always comes first.

Obviously you know Loki won't win if face to face. He has to challenge Thor in a fair ground la.

I know murder is wrong, Yeah...I admit. Loki is doing the wrong ways to fight back.

But how can you just think so one-sided that Loki = evil?
He isn't. It's the circumstances that has made him evil. I say that Odin is way more evil, isn't it?

Odin lied to him. Odin kept secrets from him. And this was the only way he thought he could win back his dad's affection.

It's just about a son hoping to win his dad's affection back. He knows with Thor around, His dad wouldn't even give him a glance. So what can he do? He knows Thor can destroy the Destroyer. What's he trying to do? Just buying some time hoping that maybe with time, he can get his dad to love him back.

Loki had never thought about the throne in the first place, he only did it because he thought that was the only way to gain his dad's affection back. This entire movie is practically about Loki learning the truth and hoping to get Odin's attention which he never got, unlike Thor.

Remember, Thor was an arrogant bastard who called his dad 'an old fool'! He shouted at his dad, disobeyed him and almost broke a treaty unleashing a war. It should really be Thor that be punished and never returned!

This is what happens in real life, u do bad things, ur parents dislike you...sometimes, they kick you out for doing extremely bad things...

Loki my have also done bad things, but you see? He knew he did it wrong. He thought he could at least get something from Odin, but bullshit. That guy never loved him like Thor. He didn't even care that he let go and disappear. Urgh..

that's right, if Loki can't win, he is not worthy to be a king.

I admit it's the circumstances that made him evil though.

Odin lied to him to protect him. He still loves Loki.

Loki knows Thor has no more power. how can he know he can defeat destroyer? he killed thor, Mjolnir accepts thor, thor is brought back to life. It is out of Loki's expectation.

well, thor WAS arrogant but gets his punishment already.

once again, Odin cares for Loki.

Obviously he has to look like he cared for Loki la. You took this boy since young, and took care of him until so old edi, if you don't even have a slight love for him you would have kicked him out way earlier edi right.

But then, it very obvious he no longer cares for Loki after Loki had made him faint isn't it? Even more when he found out Loki realizes he wasn't an Asgardian..

Immediately, he treated Loki like an outsider. Gosh la, think in Loki's shoes. Suddenly, from being someone from Asgard, you become an orphan that was stolen from your parents and not really loved by the people you thought had loved you the same.

Truthfully, I think the partnership of Thor AND Loki would totally KICK ASS! But oh well...what to do? History has its way by making them separate. The team of Thor and Loki, one's the strength..another the strategist. No villain will be able to triumph over them la..

at first Loki is not bad. but when he found out he is frost giant descendant, he become evil. and that's why i said circumstances make him evil. he is good in the first place.

Thor and Loki, if they are a team definitely will be good. just like iron man and war machine \m/

Julian said...

Ain't that the truth? Yes...He did change after that. It's true. But I wouldn't call him evil. It's more like just venting out his anger. And because they are gods, they vent out anger differently compared to us.

I'm not really saying Loki isn't bad, I mean he is. It's written in history that Loki is a villain, yes. But you shouldn't seriously just put it as pure evil. As you see, he was good. It's just he's damaged and hurt because of what he found out about himself.

I don't think you should label that as pure evil.

Anyways, Iron man and War machine would not stand a chance against Thor and Loki. They're Gods, that's one thing!

Anonymous said...

LOL who knows maybe iron man and war machine blast out beam from their palms at the same time perhaps they would win?

I didn't said he is pure evil, but once he become evil, he is not turning back

Julian said...

As you should know, Loki is a person who can think ten steps ahead of you. That's what that makes him so cunning...

I doubt even beams from Iron man AND war machine can have much effect on deities...

Thor would have already lightning-ed them away...and guess what? Short circuit would make the suits immobile!!

Lolz...
Obviously no turning back la, you do so much bad things already....you turn back, you look stupid right?

Anonymous said...

LOL you really look down on iron man don't you?

you can turn back if you regret what u did and try to compensate for what u did

Julian said...

Nah...you can't turn back. That's humans. Remember this is Asgardians. And they have to put someone as villain. And since nobody else would do the job, Loki has no choice but to do it lo. Haizz...What a fate.

I don't see much in Iron man. He's just another human, a playboy...a rich playboy..hey wait, sounds like just about any billionaire on earth.. -.-

Anonymous said...

don't look down on iron man...he even create thorbuster armor and hulkbuster armor

Julian said...

True...but still, I still think Iron Man is just like Batman. It's all about what you can invent. Batman can do that too. Hhahahaha....
