My Friend...Hui Leng.

The next to be slowly unraveled by me would have to be the other girl that have joined me from our previous overly-rated high school to this very small profiled high school to further our studies. Yes, it is true. This time I turn my attention to none other than that girl we all know as Lim Hui Leng.

To begin, you all should know that for one thing, during our high school days in our previous school, we didn't really know each other well. The most we know about each other was from what our friends told us about since her friend was actually my classmate who was just sitting in front of me. Other than that, the occasional bumping to each other in school just didn't do much. We didn't really joined the same clubs either so, we honestly didn't really know each other. But obviously, a person of her stature, had a certain status to upkeep, since she is much smarter in school compared to me. As such, obviously her friends would be of different cliques as compared to mine.

Anyways, enough of high school. It isn't really much to say about it anyways. Let's go forward to when Form Six just started. One thing that honestly surprised me was, there she was. Another person from DJ who actually came to register for Form Six. I mean when I left my previous high school, I honestly never expected anyone else to take it cause everyone from that school is so rich or at least the family earns enough to send their children to private colleges and well, many actually detest going for Form Six.

So, I honestly did not expect to find anybody from my high school joining Form Six as well. In addition, in such a new school to the Form Six syllabus. My reason I went to BU school was because to me, it was a fresh start with nobody I know. But it seems sometimes, just one or two from my previous school is still alright.Hui Leng. One of the first few people who I had a group with when Form Six started. With both of us wondering why only two of us came from DJ. Pretty peculiar actually but here we are. Wondering how Form Six is going to be. Matter of fact, she wanted to transfer to another school which had better Form Six teachers but her offer was rejected and in the end, she had to stay here instead. Well, for one thing, I'm not sure if she will agree but I guess it's actually a good thing she stayed after all. If not, there would be one less article to write about.As the Form Six year began to fly pass, we weren't exactly that close anymore as she was always hanging out with two other girls in class, claiming the title of the "Three Hot Chicks" in class. And they were often seen talking with the "Three Sohais" in class. Who are they, well the first two are the previous two guys that I've written about and another one, well..you will have to wait for his article to come out. Anyways, during that time, I was always seen behind class sitting with a group of guys on this long table, considering ourselves to be the 'American Idols' of the class. Boy, those were the days.

One of the thing we should know about when it concerns Hui Leng is that her birthday was the first birthday we celebrated in our Form Six years. I wasn't really sure what was going on actually, but suddenly everyone just decided to celebrate her birthday. Sure was surprising cause we weren't really close to each other and out of nowhere, such a plan just comes out. Anyways, I'm very glad of it because that was probably where the strings of birthday parties began to continue. Quite amazing how we always remembered to celebrate everyone's birthday in class. Or if it falls during the weekend, we go out for the birthday celebrations.

Another thing we should know about Hui Leng is she's a really witty person with a very unique sense of humour. To be truthful, sometimes I'm not one to understand her sense of humour but she does click well with some of the rest in class very well with her uniqueness. One of the best examples would have to be Madeliene who I had written an article about much earlier. Do check her out if you hadn't already done it.

Hui Leng's ability to sometimes hide her intentions is something to be admired because she's very careful with whom she chooses as her friends. One of the best examples for me would have to be what she had written for her journal entries during one of our MUET lessons.To be honest, Hui Leng had been a real hardnut to crack. Maybe it's true that only the chosen ones are allowed to do so, eventhough I have to emphasise, she never said that. It's her natural self that she keeps herself very tightly packed. To those that wants to even try to unravel her, I suggest you do not do it at once. Keep her close as a friend and let her be true to you slowly. Best would be if you can relate to her and understand her wit.

As a conclusion, Hui Leng is a very interesting friend to have, honestly. Watch her as she enjoy her favourite desserts, all those amazing ice cream she can just gulp down...All those little bitty things that she would love to enjoy to nibble on. She's just that little squirrel that runs around nibbling on something everytime. Of course she doesn't do it always but still, she's truthfully a good friend to have as well. Watch her as she shows you her unique side of herself, every teeny little thing she does. It may seem boring at times but I can assure you, she isn't be a boring person.

Anyways, I am glad to have know Hui Leng as a friend because she taught me a lesson in life. She is a strong believer in what he believes in, able to remain who she is and she quite the tough fighter in life. She knows what is good for herself and she does everything she needs to do to ensure she has a good path in life for her future. I'm honestly proud of what she has achieved so far, eventhough probably my pride for her is practically nothing for her. To keep things short, thank you for being my friend as well, Hui Leng.

My last words for this article would have to be, may Hui Leng be blessed on her road in life. May all her choices and decisions later in life be to her favor and she would lead a joyous life in the future. I don't really have much more to say other than that, but just to let you know that I'm really glad to have known you as a friend. May we stay in touch in the future and I wish you all the best for now.
