Take a look at yourself in the mirror, who do you see looking back?
Is it the person you want to be, or is there someone else you were meant to be, the person you should have been but fell short of?
Is someone telling you, you can't or you won't? Because you can.

Sometimes happiness doesn't come from money or fame or power. Sometimes happiness comes from the good friends and family. And from the quiet nobility of leading a good life.

Believe that love is out there, believe that dreams come true everyday, because they do.
So take a look at that mirror and remind yourself to be happy because you deserve to be, believe that.

My first post for 2009....
Oh, happy happy....Joy joy....
Yeah, whatever...

Anyways, wanna say that one of the best experiences in the world is by watching fireworks from directly below....
It is one life experience that must not be missed. I got to enjoy this experience with some of the best people I know, and never regretted it. The feeling you get, when you see such a brilliant show of lights just exploding in front of your eyes, falling down slowly upon you is just magnificient. Speaking of the Chinese inventing such ingenious entertainment make me proud to be born from such an amazing culture. Fireworks, brilliant as they are, cannot really be explained in words when truly experienced by one and that feeling you get, is forever embedded in the soul of the individual and will last forever. When you really see what humans have achieved in fireworks, no mere words that mortals have created can even explain even a fraction of the feeling you get.

Back to where I began, I enjoyed such a feeling at the night of New Year's Eve. And I have to say, I never regret that night...eventhough I had to wait like an arse for my friends to meet me and getting my car all the way in the carpark alone when everybody was gone. I, as a child of a family who just despises crowds and would rather prefer to watch fireworks from an idiot box, still got to watch many fireworks in my lifetime, but from a distance. And I have to say, to watch it from just directly below, it's truly a whole new thing.

Okay, enough of that. Now, let's see...ah, let's talk about the time I had to get my car all the way from the outside of the shopping mall. It's really a weird experience for me. Especially all the things that was going in my mind during the whole time. Well, it all began where I parked my car all the way upstairs in the shopping mall (1U). I guess I had to say, I'm very lucky to get one when it should be full during that time. So, let's fast-forward until after the fireworks & gonna go home after watching a mix of Shutter and Blade in PK's house. Hey, I started the new year by watching Shutter. How great is that?

I hitched a ride from PK's house to 1U, courtesy of the ever-so-kind Yings and well, started my adventure there. Gosh, dunno why I said that. Yeah, Yings, it was scareee....
Well, after he dropped me, I took my normal walk trying to search for a way to enter the mall. Please understand that it was 2 in the morning already, so most of the entrances was closed. Took me not very long, thanks to a kind guy who showed me the way, and well, after that, everything felt so 'Left 4 Dead' for me. The whole mall was deserted, my god and alot of the places was sealed off with the red tape. The elevators weren't working and I had to walk all the way up to the 4th floor. Sweat. Not the expression, it's the real perspiration. Trying to locate a way to go up wasn't that much of a mission but it sure made my imaginations gone wild.

Imagine, empty mall...sealed-off areas everywhere...a few guards that I took to be zombies just waiting to jump on me. Ah man, here comes the horde. Well, I tried to stop imagining but it just seems so hard. So, I walked as fast as I could to not make it look like I was running. Moreover, I didn't have any guns with me unlike the game so, it was my only way to escape the 'zombies' that were walking aimlessly around me. Well, that imagination wasn't that bad for me until it became worse when I saw 2 guards err....together. It was a glimpse that I saw but it was enough for me to know, 2 guys holding hands alone was really not a sight I want to see. Gosh, 2 of them in there, in that dark corner...whatever.

Anyways, as my mission progressed, I finally found the elevator. The ones that would take me all the way to the 4th floor by walking. Phew. Picked up my pace and rushed forward. I felt like in the game, finally....rescue is coming...
And thank god for me, no need to stay alive while waiting for rescue. Phew...
Finally, I reached the 4th floor, it was like I reached the safehouse and I just could help myself but just rushing to my car. The thing was, as I opened the door to the carpark, a guard was cycling past me. It totally freaked me out. Ah, I was jumpy at that time. I thought a Hunter was gonna finish me off in the last end of my game.

In the end, I reached my car. Saw it all alone in the carpark. I felt so relieved. The guy in the bicycle was nowhere to be seen so I rushed into my car and locked myself before even starting the engine. I know this sounds so childish of me. What an imagination, man. But what to do, my mind like that wan wo. Haih, Julian Julian....

Anyways, time for me to go. First day of Upper Six awaits me like the eagle awaits the mouse to appear. Haih, so terrible of me to think of it that way but...That's the way it is.
Blogging would be less for me now...As I try to cope with Upper Six and the tremendous work that's gonna pound on me...
That's 2009 for me...What a year...
2008 was great but...2009 is where I really hope to make a difference...
