Anyways, today's article will be about a certain Miss Sunshine of the class. Yes, the article today is dedicated to the ever-cheerful Madeliene See Lie Chie. First off, check how her last two names sound like lychee. Well, don't be fooled because she is more of a bird's eye chilli (cili padi) than a red-skinned juicy fruit. Yes, I am not joking, she is very active in life. When you see Madeliene as an individual at first, she is one who is very friendly to others, greeting them with her cheerful smile that seems to go on & on, literally...
In the beginning of Form 6, Maddie appeared to me like such a joyful person who just seem to be always happy to join others in a group or welcome anybody into her group. She enjoys company like no other and would do anything to get attention. But looks like I was rather wrong because wherever she went, she was always the attention there because she just cannot be ignored.
Her everlasting smile tends to ensure others never frown beside her and this is something like a gift given to her by God. She is like a little firecracker in the class and never bores anyone when she is around. Little by little she changed the class, bringing more cheer and joy to the class without us really noticing it.
True enough I was not really close to Maddie as compared to the others in class but no matter how it felt, it will always seem like I had this very explosive sister that always wants others to be happy around her. She is like this sister that cannot be forgotten and never be ignored.
Besides just giving out smiles, she is one girl who is so active in life. She can do just about any sport you try and throw to her.
Swimming? Totally...every morning for her...
Tennis? Yeah, her favourite sport...
Badminton? Duh...
Cycling? Absolutely...Just about anywhere she can go with a bike...
Running? She's the best...
And those are just a few I know she does mostly. I bet she can go for many other more sports if you do try and ask her bout it. Maddie has a very active lifestyle that many people like me would envy because she always look so fit while I look like, well..some giant.
Anyways, coming back, Maddie was a very joyful-packed girl in the beginning of Form 6 and guess what, even now she still is! Maddie will never be forgotten for being the one who brings much happiness in the class every time we are all together in the class.
I remembered a time when there seemed to be a group known as the "3 chicks" in the class and she was one of them. She fitted in being the happy one obviously and somehow, she lived up to the expectation very well. During that time, I'm sure she really enjoyed the company of her other two chicks of the class and honestly, she appeared like the 'popular' group of the class to me at that time.
Luckily, as time went by, that boundary began to dissolve like salt in water as everyone began to know each other better and better. Maddie began appearing as herself more and more and this really made me felt comfortable beside her. I mean, she is a girl with the looks and the brain, it can intimidating when you think about it.
Anyways, whatever that has happened in the past one and a half years, I hope that she will not forget knowing a guy like me as I will definitely not forget knowing a girl like her. One of the things I know she will be doing is living a wonderful and successful life in the future because she is destined for it. She will be smiling happily all the way to her bright future and hopefully, she will not forget those she has met during her time in Form 6.
And the last photo of her, happily accepting a gift…She loves gifts!
Actually besides gifts, I found out she has a really big appetite which she tends to hide away at times. Yeah, she can eat a lot too! Her appetite is sometimes absolutely astounding even for me to find out. Her favourite foods include those that give her a sweet tooth. An array of wonderful, not too sweet delicacies will charm her like nobody’s business. Watch as she engulf each bowl of it slowly by slowly.
And oh yeah, she is very, very cute when she begins eating. There was once, she ate a persimmon like a kid! Holding it with two hands and chewing on it slowly. Cute little girl she is.
Anyways, I wish her the best in everything for her future, her life and her family. She will be very successful in the future and she will never be a disappointment to the society.
May she always be blessed by God and always smile to bring joy to others!
