Well, not exactly just a day....it was two days...Can it be considered a week then?
Anyways, whatever it is...last Thursday and Friday was awesomus to the maximus...
Seriously, I wanna try and write everything that happened on this two days down, but if I did, it would take me hours and hours of wasted time...I guess I'm just gonna make a summary about those two days...
Let's see....I started Thursday with a shobbing trip with Nijiao and Grace (Again?? Hmm...this time it's not spontaneous) but it was still fun. Really fun. We tried painting The Curve, Ikano, Ikea and Cineleisure with the best colours of our life. Okay, wrong concept but I hope you get what I mean. We weren't painters that day. We walked pratically every corner of that place that day. We started the day by watching 'Marley and Me' (and WS, it's not a gay movie!! You really got gay issues...please learn to control it). Marley and Me was great. Period. Don't know about the book yet, as it hasn't arrive to my hands, but the movie was nice. Makes me think about my dog again. The worst dog in the world. Where is she now. Hope she didn't run away like Marley did to do something. That would really be so terrible. But she not that old yet. I wonder where she is.
Well, after the movie, we stopped by at Popular. (Wasted our time there, I think). After that, we walked downstairs to Cold Storage. Got myself two bottles of the finest *wine*. Erm, non-alcoholic though. It was supposed to be for Rhonwyn's partay (I know how to spell party, it's just that I wanna fancy the word up abit). Rhonwyn's partay started at six in the evening. When me and Nigel went there, Pik Kei and Yings was already helping out with the food. Well, let's just say, we were there to be like little part-time 'kitchen helpers' for the food which we gonna devour in the end.
Speaking about the food, it was gonna be "Tex-Mex" food, according to Rhon's mom. Hmmm...Yummy Yum Yum...think about those Sloppy Joe's...Those nachos with salsa....
It was nice...we even had a little 'grilling / barbecue' station being hogged by none-other-than the best cook in the class...
But I guess that wasn't the highlight of the night. There were two nice events of the night that really opened up my mind. One, being the little conversation we had with Rhon's mom. Not that it was a little convo, it was probably a really 'grown-up' kind of conversation which lasted quite some time. The conversation circulated around Jeremy and well, I do think it affected him in some way as well. Sorry Jeremy if I said anything that would have offended you in anyway that night. I'm a...you know...sometimes...
The other highlight of the night was the board game we played. Now, I know 'board' rhymes with 'bored' but damn it, this doesn't apply to the game we played that night. I know, it's just Pictionary. Just another board game that most people would have grown bored with. But do try and play with this group of people if you get the chance. The list includes Pik Kei, Ying Soon, Jeremy, Roy, Rhon, Rhon's mom...and last but not least, yours truly...He? No...Me...
Seriously, try playing with these people...They are really enjoyable to be with for Pictionary.
Some of them can really be funny at times, sometimes very jokey, but overall, you'll definitely enjoy yourself with them.
I remember, some words that really boggled the mind..."Illusion"..."Near"..."Peanut Butter"..."Period"...
I find myself enjoying alot being this is my first time playing the game. I'm so outdated, I know. But I just cannot help it.
And can you believe, we played that game all the way until midnight passed and the clock struck one!!
My gosh, my parents weren't kind to me that night...but luckily, they were asleep when I came back.
Now, I come to Friday...probably, Friday is a much slower day as compared to Thursday but I did get to watch Watchmen with the same gang again (except this time, Jeremy had to be excused and replaced by Julian T, my alter ego?! Probably not...He's much better than that). Roy gave me that random call and asked if I wanted to watch the movie, so I agreed eventhough I hadn't ask my parents yet. Thank goodness they still agreed. Watchmen was a nice show, overall...But I think Pik Kei's gonna disagree with me. The movie was at 8.50 at night but it went on and on until around 11.30 at night. You could just see Pik Kei sitting up and down on her seat, just waiting for the movie to be over. But you can't blame her, she had her mother calling her off and on during the movie.
The movie was a fantastic film, being adapted from the graphic novel, I would say that it really was nice. Now I'm just trying to get the graphic novel. I heard from Roy saying that the film follows the novel, and I wanna read it for myself. The show has a really nice twist to it, and seriously it's better than the way WS described it to me before. He was there just for the explicit scenes, if I know him well...
Well, the night ended with me being the taxi driver for the guys...No tips or taxifare charged though.
That left me absolutely broke. But I'm not complaining, it was the least a friend could do.
Right now, I'm just waiting for everybody to repay me for those 'notes' I had to order for everybody in class.
That cost me alot, and I hope they gonna pay back. If not, I have very nice plans for those that's gonna refute me....
Take a look at yourself in the mirror, who do you see looking back?
Is it the person you want to be, or is there someone else you were meant to be, the person you should have been but fell short of?
Is someone telling you, you can't or you won't? Because you can.
Sometimes happiness doesn't come from money or fame or power. Sometimes happiness comes from the good friends and family. And from the quiet nobility of leading a good life.
Believe that love is out there, believe that dreams come true everyday, because they do.
So take a look at that mirror and remind yourself to be happy because you deserve to be, believe that.
