There's a question, that I want to ask to my readers of my blog(which i think isn't that many anyways)...
This question is actually very simple, some of you might have already thought of the answer right after you hve read the question...
But that's not what I want from you, a short, simple, never-thought-through-thoroughly answer.
I want your true honest opinion accompanying your answer...(Ahah!)
So without further ado...The question...of the mind...of the hour...
If God came to you one day, and asks you this question...
"I will bring you back to me and I will give you one Gift."
"You will have to choose from this two options and whatever you have chosen, you will have to live with that decision whether it is gonna turn out good or bad."
"Your choices are: Fame or Fortune."
"Now, this decision is going to be based on your experiences with the life that you have lived now. Think wisely because this is one gift you cannot return."
Simple enough? Well...now, I'll try my best to make that hard for you now....
Okay, now let's say you have chosen FORTUNE. Why in the world did you decide to attain fortune? What is it with fortune that makes you want it so much? The ability to do anything with money at your fingertips? So much money that you can bath in a huge swmming pool filled with freshly-minted money? The ability to spend for everything in this whole wide world? In fact, if you can, in this whole wide universe?
FORTUNE is a nice choice to pick but what if this choice backfires at you? What if all those money is collected the wrong way? What if you can only own that money by laundering, robbing, stealing, conning and etc.? What if you had to work against the law to finally earn that amount of money? Do you think you will be able to pay off the law every single time?
Some of you may even think by choosing FORTUNE, you are safe because most of the time, FAME comes with FORTUNE. What if it doesn't? What if, like I have mentioned, you had to earn your FORTUNE by being a criminal, forever shunned by the rest of the world, unable to travel safely anywhere. It seems so easy when you watch those gangster movies, how the big boss of the gang is always protected, but do you know that with one false step, you can be brought down to your knees in real life? Everybody wants a piece of you for taking away their lives and the lives of others.
Now what makes you think choosing FAME is all that much better than choosing FORTUNE? What makes you think that FORTUNE always comes with FAME? You think all famous people are rich?? Think again. FAME is all that until you realise that you still gonna live in poverty to enjoy the FAME. Heard of famous people like Mother Theresa? Or Mozart? Or Alexander Graham Bell? These people weren't rich eventhough they had the fame that went on for years and years...and years to come...But do remember, even for Mozart, his FAME came years later when people finally realized his talent in music. He was never a good neighbour because he made alot of noise around his home. Oh, and don't forget...Having alot of FAME can also mean being the Most Wanted Person On Earth. That's also FAME for you...
So, that's it...take your chances, take the risk...
See what you will get by just choosing from such simple *ahem* choices.
So much easier than choosing the right clothes for that prom night or that perfect car with only that amount of cash.
Go leave comments and tell me what's your answer.
And the part that I want mostly is to hear what you have to say from your choice.
What is the reason you chose that choice?
Do leave comments...(Or else this blog goes obsolete and I shall destroy it *wink*)
Take a look at yourself in the mirror, who do you see looking back?
Is it the person you want to be, or is there someone else you were meant to be, the person you should have been but fell short of?
Is someone telling you, you can't or you won't? Because you can.
Sometimes happiness doesn't come from money or fame or power. Sometimes happiness comes from the good friends and family. And from the quiet nobility of leading a good life.
Believe that love is out there, believe that dreams come true everyday, because they do.
So take a look at that mirror and remind yourself to be happy because you deserve to be, believe that.

Alright. (: I like to answer questions, so here goes.
I would prefer fortune. Yes, I do. For quite a few reasons why.
Lately with me in this expensive course, I'm quite sure my parents have to earn more, and what more with my sister about to enter college herself. If I have ample money, I would definitely put some aside for both of our college funds, as well as some for my parents. At least my mum needn't work so hard as she babysits to earn extra cash.
I know some relatives who has been experiencing financial problems for a year now. I won't say which, but it really does break my heart to see them go through like this, having to be thrifty-even in education. It's sad to have to pick an option that you aren't keen on, but then you don't have enough money to pursue what you want.
Fame is something that I wouldn't prefer. I will never be able to deal with it, let alone keep up with the public's demands. My life is not for detailed scrutiny under the camera lens. I do not live a false facade like those reality shows. Privacy is something which I value, and that I feel should be kept that way. So what if I'm famous? I'm not entirely sure if I want to be famous yet feel awkward about it.
Money may not solve everything, but there are ways to keep a steady control over it. We needn't boast our wealth. It is the wise who get to live on as normal people.
There. Pretty long eh? Hope you enjoyed my answer. Heading off to college now! See you. (:
I would choose fame. Fortune is overhyped. Whereas with fame you can buy fortune! I mean helllooo paris hilton anyone?
