Take a look at yourself in the mirror, who do you see looking back?
Is it the person you want to be, or is there someone else you were meant to be, the person you should have been but fell short of?
Is someone telling you, you can't or you won't? Because you can.

Sometimes happiness doesn't come from money or fame or power. Sometimes happiness comes from the good friends and family. And from the quiet nobility of leading a good life.

Believe that love is out there, believe that dreams come true everyday, because they do.
So take a look at that mirror and remind yourself to be happy because you deserve to be, believe that.

Italy and Me...

Today, I wanna write a short article about what I think about Italy.
As usual, Malaysians such as me always view another country as being much better than us when the certain country is located at the Northern Hemisphere or being located just below the equator at the Southern Hemisphere (Australia, New Zealand & etc).

It is very obliging to assume that Italy is a well-developed country where it is similar to the likes of the big countries such as the States or London. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I looked upon cities such as Rome and Venice to be fantastically technologically more advanced as compared to Malaysia. Being the one that has been long bored with the culture back home, I thought of getting to enjoy better culture here.

However, that was not the case. I realize, with my big brown eyes there is not much difference. Disappointed as I was, I took it with courage as my tour guide did warn us beforehand. He mentioned that Italians are very much conservationists. They prefer to remain as they were for years and years to come. Either being as barbaric or as awe-inspiring as their ancestors, Italians prefer to remain as they always were and always will be.

Italians are very focused on keeping their culture very much alive even in this ever-changing and ever-productive technology-based civilization that we now live in. Their cities and streets are very interesting to one that yet to see. The buildings around Italy is very much different from those you find in well-developed countries. The concrete jungles boasts the skyscrapers with panels of glass all over them. Italians are smarter in this case as they retain all their amazing buildings from centuries ago.

All their buildings have very fascinating sculptures added to the walls to bring such lovely scenery to a most-probably boring city. In short, to finally conclude my blabbering, I have only this to say.

Italy is to Europe, what Malaysia is to Asia.
These two countries are very much similar.
Just probably that one has more culture in it while another one has more variety in food selections.
Italy might have the four seasons to boast, but Malaysia, we have the sun they longed so much. Though, not that I'm saying I like the sun here.
Italy is a great place to travel but not really a nice place to stay for me.
Oops, here goes its status as my patch of Heaven...

There's my short article. Hope you enjoy it. Leave your much-obliged comments. Merci Beaucoup!
