Splendid times I spent with my good old friends, ones which I have known since Form 2, if I ain't wrong and my memory still serves me.
THURSDAY
The day started with a blast. Woke up around 8 and prepped myself with a book on my bed. Read a few chapters of the book before decided to reach downstairs. I think I should forward the day to around 11 or else it's gonna be darn boring to read.
So, around 11, started my engine. Drove the car to fetch Pui Cheng. Owh gosh, I thought I knew DJ well and could find her house like in 5 minutes. When I reached the lovely neighbourhood, I was apprehended by such arrangements of roads. I mean, gosh... Suddenly, road no. 45 is here...and then road no. 39 is next to it... what the?? Where's the sequence, man? Guess the plan for the neighbourhood wasn't really planned that well at all...
Finally, found her house, hey, decent-looking at least...at least better than mine lo...
Then, gotta find Cheri's house. Oh, pish-posh...been there, knew the way...
That's what I thought. Until when I reached her place, found out I used the wrong way!!!
Arr!! Gee....missed the 'Jalan Sehala' sign...Thank God no car was driving from the other direction....And I apologize to Pui Cheng, cause I missed that bump and almost made you fly off the roof...Lolz.
Well now, driving towards MidValley. A place where I think, was the only place we could agree on being near & seldom been to. Hah.
Well, parking was quite a burden but we found one somewhere in the Gardens.
We couldn't decide where or what to do at first but then Pui Cheng just blurted out that we should watch a movie since we were gonna spend around 4 to 5 hours there. Anything but Madagascar as she promised her mom she'd watch with her.
We scanned the movie showtimes over and over again...while we 'degraded' the movies showing one by one...
We did that for quite some time until we finally decided to watch 'My Best Friend's Girl'...
Lolz...A chick flick...what a choice...
After getting the tickets, we walked around to hunt for lunch...walking down...and up MidValley...Lolz
Until finally, the gals decided to eat at erm...a Korean restaurant...No, not that Barbeque Chicken...a decent Korean barbeque restaurant...
Pui Cheng recommended barbeque and we just went along with the idea...
Hey, it turned out great...nice barbequed beef...mouth-watering was just too insulting to describe it...
Yeah, it was great....Until the time came for the bill....Boy oh boy, how rich were the Koreans...
Luckily, the bill was split to three...though I was suggesting to foot the bill...Right up my ass...Lolz...Just kidding...
After that it was time for the movie...Haha....A romantic comedy....
Don't wanna spoil the movie for those who haven't watch but....
It's an 'okay-okay' movie for me...
Or in PK's words....'ogay-ogay'....
But among everything I like about the movie, Alec Baldwin isn't one of them...
The day ended with me fetching the gals back home too...
Oh, Thank God there wasn't heavy traffic at that time...
On the way back, the gals were surprised by early Christmas presents from me...Hidden all the way in the back of my car...hehe
Well, after fetching them back, it was time for me to drive back into KL to fetch my mom...LOLZ
So now, ending this post by wishing the gals, Cheri and Pui Cheng a wonderful time in college and best of luck in everything you do...
Hope we can go out again soon....when you're not so busy with college...
And oh yes, please promise me both of you will keep your promise to hold on to that present until Christmas before you even open those presents...
And Cheri, Santa Claus is so not me....Haha
Take a look at yourself in the mirror, who do you see looking back?
Is it the person you want to be, or is there someone else you were meant to be, the person you should have been but fell short of?
Is someone telling you, you can't or you won't? Because you can.
Sometimes happiness doesn't come from money or fame or power. Sometimes happiness comes from the good friends and family. And from the quiet nobility of leading a good life.
Believe that love is out there, believe that dreams come true everyday, because they do.
So take a look at that mirror and remind yourself to be happy because you deserve to be, believe that.
